Roasted Honeycrisp Applesauce


  • 4 lb bag of Honey Crisp Apples
  • tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbs. honey
  • ½ C Apple Cider
  • 2 Tbs. cinnamon
  • 3-4 Tbs. of butter


  1. Slice and peel and the apples (approx. 8-9 apples) then put them in a roasting pan or dutch oven.
  2. Add all the other ingredients in the pot and cover, then put it in the oven.
  3. Stir about halfway through. The apples are done when they are soft.
  4. Scoop out just the apples and either mash by hand or use a food processor to make it into a sauce.
