I like the feel of a book when I’m reading but LOVE the convenience and simplicity of a tablet. Why can’t we have both?!? Well, we can. 😉 A few years ago I made a tablet cover out of an old book and it has held up really well. I still use it and get compliments all the time about how cool it looks.
So today Sara from sincerely sara, d and I are sharing a video tutorial to help you make your own tablet cover using an old book…

It seems strange to me too, although I’d like to transform a couple of my old books by bringing them to life with a new cover. I’ve had Slaughterhouse Five in the dust for a year now, but it hasn’t lived up to its end of life, even though it’s a very interesting book. I found it thanks to an article where I read a short summary and wanted to buy its paper version. I found it on sale and immediately bought it, but it is extremely old and almost disintegrating, although still usable.
