If you thought I had fallen off the face of the earth, you are not entirely wrong! These past few weeks, my life and body have been a little out of sorts. My parents got here two and a half weeks ago, and I got sick the day after they arrived. The day after they left, we pulled out before the sun came up to head to my in-laws. With all the company and travel, I have been battling a cold (completely lost my voice), a stomach bug, and now KILLER allergies. URRRRR
So, my apologies for completely neglecting my blog. Truth be told, I have had very little to share since not much has been going on (minus all the sickness!). BUT, hallelujah for allergy meds…things seem to be looking up today. And just in time. I have a massive yard/garage sale at my house in two days. A few of my neighbors and I are going to combine our junk stuff to hopefully attract a good crowd. How do I have so much? Once I start purging, it’s hard to stop. I am not a very sentimental person, so it’s easy for me to let go.

Spring has Sprung here in Indy and boy am I ready! I am looking forward to getting my hands dirty and finishing some of the projects that had to be put on hold last year. I will be busy with the yard sale for the rest of the week, but I will let you know how it goes.

Angela, it’s completely understandable that life can throw unexpected challenges our way. Balancing family visits, illness, and travel is no small feat. I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better and gearing up for the yard sale.
Thanks for your kind advice. I will take note of these. Great article, keep up the good work!
I had every intention of keeping our holiday trip low-key this year, but things got complicated after we booked a last-minute stay through a third-party site. Turns out, one of our confirmations didn’t go through properly. While digging for info on others with similar issues, I came across Guest Reservations reviews and realized we weren’t the only ones facing booking confusion. Thankfully, customer support eventually sorted it out, and we still made it in time for the local Christmas market.
