Overnight Blueberry French Toast
oaf of French bread
of brown sugar
of ground cinnamon
small bag of frozen blueberries
Optional: Dust with powdered sugar.
Slice the bread into about 1 inch slices and arrange them in a greased 9X13 pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, ½ cup of brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
Pour the mixture evenly over the bread, turn slices as needed.
Cover and refrigerate over night.
The next morning, heat the butter with the leftover ¼ cup of brown sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat until bubbly. This happens fairly quickly.
Sprinkle the blueberries on top of the bread slices, then drizzle the heated mixture over the entire thing. (Use as much or as little blueberries as you prefer.)
Bake in a 375° oven for 30-45 minutes.
