Mother’s Day is coming up in a few weeks! Have you thought about that special gift? This is the perfect time to show your Mom just how much you love her. Often when we are older and we have kids of our own, something from the grandkids is that perfect gift. It’s so easy to find a little craft to give them, but something with sentimental value or that they can actually use will be what they remember most.
I have put together a few gifts that I’m sure they will love:
Handmade Mother’s Day Gifts for Grandma:
1. Charm Necklace
Put a picture of the kids on one side and verse or special quote on the other!
2. Recipe Tea Towel
Find a sentimental recipe, like one that you make together or that her Mom made, and turn it into a tea towel!
3. Sewing Kit
This is such a cute gift from a seamstress or crafter!
4. Personalized Pillow
A fun option for this could be “grandma (or whatever you call her) est. 2014 (the year the first grandchild was born)”!
5. Flower Arrangement
6. Silhouette Artwork
Make a silhouette of each child or put them all on plate. You can add birth dates, names or a special quote to finish them off.
7. Gardening Apron
Reuse something that might have sentimental value to give it that extra touch!
7. Cooking Apron
This is sure to melt any grandma’s heart!! Let the kids write out their favorite recipes that she makes to add to the gift. It will remind her of him or her every time she makes the dish!
8. Handwritten Note
NOTHING is more special than kind words from your heart! Take the extra time to sit down and write your mom a letter.
What will you be giving YOUR MOM this year?
